About this rug
Black shag is not for quiet rooms — and that is precisely the point.
This 2-foot by 3-foot black shag area rug brings depth and contrast to any floor it covers. The long, dense acrylic pile creates a richly textured surface that absorbs light differently depending on the angle, giving it a sculptural quality that flat-pile rugs cannot match. Against light flooring it anchors. Against dark flooring it adds dimension. Machine-made for durability and consistency, the pile holds its depth through regular use while remaining soft underfoot. The black tone is versatile — as contemporary as it is timeless — and pairs naturally with leather, concrete, wood, and anything in between. An accent that earns its position.
Bold without effort.
Striking at the foot of a bed, beside a reading chair, or wherever you want the floor to say something.
