About this rug
A room changes when the floor is worth standing on.
This 3-foot by 5-foot taupe genuine sheepskin rug is crafted from New Zealand sheepskin — the same material that outfitters, architects, and interior designers specify when the brief calls for authentic warmth. The fibres are naturally dense, resilient, and soft against bare feet in a way that synthetic pile simply does not match. Taupe is the colour of considered restraint: warm without being yellow, cool without being grey, and compatible with almost every palette. Because this is genuine sheepskin, no two pieces are exactly alike — the natural variation in pile density and subtle colour shift are the hallmarks of authenticity. It lies with a relaxed authority that manufactured rugs rarely achieve.
The kind of rug that makes people reach down and touch it.
Pairs beautifully with a seating arrangement, beneath a bed's footboard, or as the textural anchor in a master suite.
