Hi, we are Anna and Lisa, the founders and owners of Poshrug, your online destination for the best cowhide patchwork rugs in the market. We are two best friends who share a passion for interior design, especially rustic, bohemian, and modern styles. We love how rugs made from cowhide can add warmth, texture, and personality to any space, from the living room to the bedroom and everywhere in between.

We started Poshrug in 2016 after we discovered the amazing benefits and beauty of rugs made from cowhide. In 2014, we were looking for a unique and durable rug for our own homes, and we came across some stunning rugs made from cowhide.

We were impressed by how each cowhide rug was a one-of-a-kind piece, with its own natural colors and patterns. We were also amazed by how cowhide rugs were hypoallergenic, easy to clean, and long-lasting. We decided to order some cowhide rugs for ourselves.

When we ordered these rugs from available sellers, there were quality issues like balding and no padding. We decided the best way forward was to manufacture our own rugs. It took us another two years before we could get the process right.

We source our cowhides from the best suppliers in Brazil and India, who use ethical and sustainable practices to produce high-quality hides. Our mission is to provide you with the best cowhide patchwork rugs that will suit your style, budget, and needs. Our cowhide patchwork rugs take about 3 to 4 weeks to ship. It takes 2 to 5 days for hide selection and preparation; we sun-dry our hides when colors are part of the design. It then takes another 2 to 5 days for cutting different patches and hand-sewing the rugs to get them ready. Rugs are shipped via FedEx and take 5-7 days to arrive.
